A Life in Four Seasons description
Walk this way if you're a fan of contemporary dance. A treat awaits you at London's gorgeous Regent's Park Open Air theatre, one of the capital's loveliest green spaces. Expect awe-inspiring performances every step of the way with A Life in Four Seasons, a brand new dance work inspired by Vivaldi's delicious Four Seasons. Billed as a bold, heart-stopping dance show, it's set to a re-imagined version of Vivaldi's masterpiece, a beautiful recorded musical score written by the award-winning composer DJ Walde (The Importance of Being Earnest, Sylvia). The story? Three friends are loving life in a lively, exciting city. As the summer approaches they make the city their own, laughing their way through autumn and onwards into winter.
Created by Regent's Park Open Air Theatre Associate Artistic Director Tinuke Craig (Noughts & Crosses, A Raisin in the Sun), there's a top class creative team on board. There's choreography by Alexzandra Sarmiento (Starter For Ten, 42 Balloons), Casting by Will Burton, Set and Costume Design from Ryan Dawson Laight, and Choreography by Alexzandra Sarmiento. A magical spectacle whose elegance and grace will stay with you for years afterwards, it's set to light up the park and draw huge audiences, so make sure you book your tickets in good time.
