It's part play, part musical. This unique show, Allegra, stars Dame Maureen Lipman in the title role, playing a woman who's mind is beginning to disappear. Her Brother Ronan and carer Anna are doing their best but Allegra is so joyful she can't help bursting into song. Her loud, unpredictable singing leads to visits from the police as she belts out tunes at home, in the shops, in the supermarket, wherever she happens to be. Funny and touching, it comes from the Olivier Award-nominated playwright Peter Quilter who gave us End of the Rainbow and Glorious!. 

A beautiful piece of theatre rich in music, song and dance, the uplifting story is told with honesty and humour. Themes of family, memory and how to find happiness even in dark times make it a pleasure to experience. Sharp wit, sincere performances and an excellent cast await you, with Emmerdale star John Middleton as Ronan, Elizabeth Bower as Anna, Bailey Patrick as Officer Rogers and the covers Helen Goldwyn and Gareth Radcliffe on board There's an equally impressive creative team involved, including direction and choreography by Stephen Mear. Gorgeous!
