Guess How Much I Love You? description

Brand new drama awaits you with the splendid Guess How Much I Love You?, fresh from the pen of Luke Norris, who gave us Poldark. It also happens to be the opening show for the Royal Court Theatre's 70th anniversary celebrations, and it is so moving it'll haunt you for a long time afterwards. If, like millions of us, you've ever waited for an important diagnosis, it'll move you - and it might just break your heart... in a good way. A couple waits in a hospital room, about to find out if their world will fall apart. Will the future they always dreamed of slip away?

This tender, funny drama examines the impossible choices so many of us face, the endurance of true love, its limits, and the choices that define our relationships, all expressed with a beautiful blend of seriousness and humour. Your stars are Rosie Sheehy (Machinal), Robert Aramayo (I Swear), and Lena Kaur (Expendable), and the Director is Jeremy Herrin (People, Places and Things). The Design is by Grace Smart and the Lighting design by Jessica Hung Han Yun. Sound and composition comes from Nick Powell, with Dramaturgy by Gillian Greer, and the Casting is by Jessica Ronane CDG. This raw, brave exploration of love will stay with you for a long time afterwards.
