High Noon description

It's an all-star affair, complete with an award-winning creative team and a cast to die for. Oscar winning screenwriter Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, Dune) and Olivier winning Director Thea Sharrock (Equus, After the Dance) are on the case, delivering the world premiere of High Noon. This gripping new adaptation of the classic Western isn't just magnificent, it's just as relevant to today as it was in the 1950s when the movie delivered a wake-up call to the world. Originally delving into Hollywood's scandalous blacklist, this new version of High Noon speaks to the world we live in today with themes of courage and cowardice, justice and peace, and duty versus desire.

Will the love between Will Kane and Amy Fowler survive the impossible choices they face as the outlaw Frank Miller, on board the high noon train, gets closer? Do they start a beautiful new life together or potentially lose everything for the greater good? Tony and Emmy winner Billy Crudup (The Morning Show, The Coast of Utopia) and the Olivier winner Denise Gough (Andor, People, Places & Things) star. The design is by the Tony and Olivier winner Tim Hatley (Back to the Future: The Musical, The Life of Pi) with lighting by Tony and Olivier winner Neil Austin (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Frozen The Musical). The composer and music producer is Chris Egan, and the casting director is Jina Jay CDG. Powerful stuff, perfectly repurposed for the 2020s.
