The show weaves Chaka's extraordinary story via her music, played to perfection by the brilliant star of the West End musical scene, Alexandra Burke, who delighted audiences with The Bodyguard, Sister Act, and The Addams Family as well as cutting her teeth on TV's The X Factor. The show explores Chakas' addiction, her connection with the Black Panthers, and the battles she fought to be heard as a black woman, packed with gorgeous tunes including I Feel For You, Ain't Nobody, Tell Me Something Good, Never Miss The Water, Like Sugar and more. Direction by Racky Plews (Footloose), a book by Nia T. Hill and choreography by Jade Hackett make this dazzling West End musical even more special.
