Lost Atoms description

Lost Atoms is a new play by Anna Jordan, whose TV credits include Succession, Killing Eve, and One Day. She wrote the plays The Unreturning for Frantic Assembly, Pop Music, and We Anchor in Hope. Lost Atoms makes its premiere in September 2025, following a UK tour, in the capital for early 2026 at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre. Starring Joe Layton (Othello, Metamorphosis, The Unreturning, Coronation Street) and Hannah Sinclair Robinson (Othello, Metamorphosis, The Play That Goes Wrong, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time), it is part of the beloved theatre company Frantic Assembly's 30th birthday celebrations.

On the surface, it looks like the perfect relationship. But when two people start to explore their past and imagine what all their potential futures could look like, the fairytale doesn't look quite so magical. Is it actually toxic? Just ordinary? Maybe doomed from the start? Exploring the role of memory in love, the plot takes you on a thought-provoking journey that'll leave you pondering the nature of successful relationships. The play is directed by Scott Graham, Artistic Director of Frantic Assembly, with Set Design by Andrzej Goulding and Lighting Design from Simisola Majekodunmi. The Sound Design is by Carolyn Downing, Costume Design by Alice McNicholas, and Music Supervision by Julie Blake.
