Sleeping Beauty description

It's that time of year again, when the London Palladium lights up with the capital's biggest Christmas panto. This time around, we have Sleeping Beauty on the menu, told with the show's famous wit and wicked humour, and stacked with top celebrity talent. Prepare to party with the family in a show celebrating a decade since pantomime returned to London’s beloved home of Variety. Palladium pantos have been seen by more than a million of us over the last ten years, huge fun for every age. Expect pure magic for the kids and a laugh-a-minute treat for the adults thanks to top class British puns, word play, cheeky jokes, and double entendres.

Comedian and actor Catherine Tate plays the villain Carrabosse, with Palladium pantomime royalty Julian Clary as King Julian. Impressionist Jon Culshaw plays King Julian's Private Detective, with Paul Zerdin as The Great Zerdini, Nigel Havers as the Keeper of the Privy, Dave Knox as Master of the Royal Flame, and Rob Madge as The Diva of Dreams. West End legends Emily Lane as Princess Aurora and Amonik Melaco as Prince Peter complete the picture. Producer Michael Harrison has pulled out all the stops, along with set design by Mark Walters, and costume design by Hugh Durrant, Teresa Nalton, and Mike Coltman, exclusively for The London Palladium. There's choreography from Karen Bruce, visual special effects by The Twins FX, lighting design by Ben Cracknell, sound design by Matt Peploe, and composition and orchestrations from Gary Hind. On stage for just a few weeks, the show's 60 performances are set to sell out fast.
