The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy description
Sometimes a story is so funny, so off-the-wall, it morphs into an international phenomenon. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to The Galaxy is one of them. Douglas Adams' eccentric creation began life as a BBC Radio show, then became a 15 million-selling five-book 'trilogy', a TV series, and a 2005 movie with Alan Rickman and Martin Freeman. Now, one of the best-loved sci-fi comedies of all time is on stage at London's Riverside Studios in a brand new interactive experience you'll love, whether you're unfamiliar with the story or a fan. If absurd humour is your thing, you're going to love it.
Welcome to the pub, where you'll begin your experience. Then prepare to be whisked off into outer space where you'll meet up with Arthur Dent, Zaphod Beeblebrox, Fenchurch, and the crew, on a mission to flee from the Earth before it is destroyed, joining the search for answers to the meaning of life, the universe, and everything. The award-winning creative team behind the magic means the visuals, sound, and everything else are going to be fantastic. Created by writer and producer Arvind Ethan David, the show is co-directed by Simon Evans (No. 9 Stage/Fright), and co-directed and choreographed by Lorin Latarro (The Producers, Mrs. Doubtfire). Live experience experts Georgia Clarke-Day (Monopoly Lifesized, The Traitors Live Experience) and David Frias-Robles (Taskmaster: The Live Experience) are on the case, as is the Emmy Award-winning stage designer Jason Ardizzone-West (Redwood, Jesus Christ Superstar Live). Absolutely perfect when laughs are on the menu!
