Meet Jamie Wellerstein, a novelist on the brink of success, and struggling actor Cathy Hiatt. Jamie's story is told in chronological order, starting off just after they first met. Cathy's story unfolds backwards, starting with the end of their marriage. The only time they engage with each other is for when their timelines collide, for their wedding song.

This wonderful new production telling one of the world's favourite break-up stories has made countless thousands of people across the world happy. The movie has been seen by millions. Conducted and directed by the show's original composer Jason Robert Brown (Parade, The Bridges of Madison County), the concert is stacked with beautiful pop, jazz, classical, Klezmer, Latin, Blues, Rock, and Folk music, created by piano, acoustic guitar, fretless bass, two cellos, celesta, tubular bell, and violin, making this poignant exploration of a love story that briefly flamed then died extra special.
