Their huge catalogue of hits and sixty years on stage makes them the Number One in Billboard Magazine's recent list of Greatest R&B/Hip Hop Artists of All Time. They also scored high with Rolling Stone magazine, one of the publication’s 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.

It all began with My Girl, which came out in December 1964 and was their first Number One chart hit. In total The Temptations have won more than fifty gold, platinum, and multi-platinum awards along with five Grammies, including the Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement award. The group won their first GRAMMY in 1969 for Best Rhythm and Blues Performance by a Duo or Group for the song Cloud Nine. 1989 saw them inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 1994 they had their own star added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame in LA. In 2019 it was joined by a star on the Apollo Theater's Walk of Fame in Harlem, NYC.

The band has just celebrated its 60th Anniversary with a brand-new album, Temptations 60. They’re touring the UK, then taking off to tour Europe. This is their story.
