Plaza Suite description

Following an extraordinary sell-out Broadway run, which broke numerous box office records, the two-time Tony winner Matthew Broderick and two-time Emmy winner Sarah Jessica Parker lead the cast in the West End transfer of Neil Simon’s hit comedy Plaza Suite. The hilarity is beautifully directed by Tony Award winner John Benjamin Hickey, and the play is on for a strictly limited season at the Savoy Theatre from 15th January to 31st March 2024.

What's the story of Plaza Suite?

Cheap tickets for Plaza Suite reveal the brilliant Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker making a West End debut with her real-life husband Matthew Broderick for 2024, when their massive Broadway hit Plaza Suite transfers to the West End’s Savoy Theatre.

Broderick and Parker, who’ve been married since 1997, wowed audiences with the play at New York’s Hudson Theatre in July 2022, and they’ll be reprising their roles for the London run. They play three very different couples in one hotel room, a fantastic comedy production that fast became one of the highest grossing revivals of a play in Broadway history. Not to be missed!

Who is starring in Plaza Suite?

Matthew Broderick returns to the West End for the first time since his acclaimed run in The Starry Messenger during 2019. Plaza Suite marks the Sex and the City and And Just Like That star Sarah Jessica Parker’s West End debut.

Matthew Broderick plays Sam Nash, Jesse Kiplinger and Roy Hubley opposite Sarah Jessica Parker’s Karen Nash, Muriel Tate, and Norma Hubley. The characters, who arrive over three acts, are a long-married couple Karen and Sam, a pair of former high school sweethearts Muriel and Jesse, plus the mother and father of a bride, Norma and Roy. It’s clever stuff, and it’s really funny.

Who is on the Plaza Suite creative team?

Plaza Suite is written by Neil Simon. The Tony Award-winner John Benjamin Hickey directs once more. The creative team comprises the two-time Tony winner John Lee Beatty, who does the set design, the Tony winner Jane Greenwood, who does the costume design, and the five-time Tony winner Brian MacDevitt, who’s responsible for the lighting design.

Tony winner Scott Lehrer does the sound design, Tony winner Marc Shaiman does the incidental music, and Jim Carnahan is the casting director. That’s what we call a glittering creative team, the perfect complement to an equally glittering cast.
