Sea Witch description

Sea Witch the musical has been compared to Wicked, a brand new West End show telling a thrilling origin story. This is the musical's world premiere. Set in a Danish fishing village, the story is based on the popular 2018 young adult novel by Sarah Hennin. The star of the show is the young witch Evie, who has been banished from her home country, where magic is forbidden. Lonely and alone, she's thrilled to meet a strange girl, Annemette, who looks a lot like her drowned best friend Anna. When Evie agrees to help Annemette, a dark tale of love and betrayal unfolds.

The musical's creators Kristopher Russell and Michael David Glover are known and loved for their innovative musicals, visually stunning and immersive experiences designed to engage people deeply, placing the audience at the heart of the story and pushing the threatrical boundaries. The Choreographer is Dean Lee, who choreographed Janet Jackson, and the Music and lyrics are composed and written by Segun Fawole. A compelling story told through powerful show tunes that are already proving popular.
