The Great British Bake Off Musical description

About The Great British Bake Off Musical

You’re a very good amateur baker. You never put a foot wrong at home. But the second you enter the infamous Bake Off tent, things start to go wrong. It’s too hot in there. Your ganache keeps melting. You’ve forgotten to add the eggs. And you can feel Paul Hollywood’s icy stare drilling into your back as you peer, worriedly, into the oven - where your cake remains as flat as a pancake. Disaster! This is the musical of the TV show we all adore, and it’s on at the Noel Coward Theatre for 2023.

Bake Off is about so much more than baking. So is this brilliant new musical, stuffed with 16 memorable new tunes you’ll love. You’ll meet a group of ordinary people who’ve been put in extraordinary circumstances where their talent is tested to the extreme. The show has spent five years in development and has been created in association with the producers of the TV series. As WhatsOnStage said, this is a "hilarious, deeply touching and an utterly joyous feast of fun.”

The musical enjoyed a dazzling world premiere in Cheltenham, with standing ovations every night. It’s a worthy contender for a West End run, and we can’t wait to experience it for ourselves. How about you?
