The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry musical will leave you feeling uplifted and joyous, a funny, profound, and deeply moving new show based on Rachel Joyce's multi-million-selling novel. A fantastic score from chart-topper Passenger (Let Her Go) adds extra magic. Published in 2012 to critical acclaim, the story was made into a movie in 2023 starring Jim Broadbent and Penelope Wilton. This is the sell-out Chichester Festival production with Mark Addy (The Full Monty, The Rig, Game of Thrones) playing Harold and Jenna Russell (Sunday in the Park with George, Hello, Dolly) playing his wife Maureen.

Gorgeous music along with themes of redemption, second chances and the kindness of strangers make the story memorable. Rachel Joyce, Peter Darling and Katy Rudd adapted it for the stage, and Katy Rudd (Ballet Shoes, The Ocean at the End of the Lane) also directs. Designs are by Samuel Wyer and choreography by Tom Jackson Greaves. The Arrangement, Orchestration and Additional Music are by Jeremy Holland-Smith and the Musical Supervisor is Phil Bateman, who also provides additional music. There's Lighting Design by Paule Constable, Sound Design by Ian Dickinson and Gareth Tucker for Autograph, and Video Design by Ash J Woodward. The Casting Director is Anna Cooper CDG and the Musical Director is Chris Poon. Prepare to feel the joy!
