Playhouse Theatre Seating Plan

Simply click on a seat to access user reviews. We might not have reviews for every seat yet, and some seats only have one or two reviews so far. It makes sense to check them all to make sure the opinions expressed are representative and trustworthy.

Upper Circle

The highest section of the Playhouse Theatre, the Upper Circle consists of three blocks of seating and is divided by two aisles. The best seats can be found in the centre of all the front rows.

Legroom feels awfully restricted here and taller audience members are advised to avoid this section, or if possible should purchase a ticket for an aisle seat.

Most of the seats in this section of the theatre offer obstructed and distant views of the stage so you should only choose to sit here if on a strict budget. Please bear in mind that aisle seats are affected by the metal bars that run across the front that may obstruct the view of the stage.

The top of the stage is cut off in practically all of the seats in this part of the Playhouse Theatre and audience members might feel very distant and removed from the action taking place on stage if sat in the Upper Circle. If you are wish to feel fully immersed in the production and want to be able to fully enjoy your experience, you should endeavour to purchase tickets in either the Stalls or the Dress Circle.

Audience members who suffer from acrophobia or experienced vertigo in the past should also aim for tickets in the lower parts of the venue as the Upper Circle does feel quite high up. Unfortunately this section of the theatre is not wheelchair accessible and should be avoided by those with reduced mobility issues.
