The grading system on the review is not clear, and I opted for the top circle to indicate 5 stars and not 1 star! I was concerned that being in a balcony might have disadvatages, but certainly on the first balcony was absolutely fine. Leg room was poor, and at five foot nine I am not the tallest person, and there must be some 'manspreading' going on. Being 'in the round' has its challenges, and I was glad to be on the cation side of 'the Berlin Wall' which rose up from the ground, and I had a clear view of the failed attempt to escape. The seating the other side of the wall couldn't have seen much, but that can never be pre-guessed when booking. Nonetheless seeing The Spy Who Came In From The Cold was my best theatre visit for many years. The Spy Who Came In From The Cold, 23 Feb 2026
