Grand Circle
A level above the Royal Circle , the Grand Circle can feel very distant from the action on the stage, and those members of the audience who wish to enjoy a closer view should bear this in mind when purchasing tickets in this section of the theatre.
Despite the distance, the view and the sound in the Grand Circle is still quite spectacular, and although quite shallow, the ranked seats help in providing a quite good view.
This part of the theatre is divided into three sections and the rows curve around the stage, which causes the end seats to have a restricted view.
There are safety rails in this section of the theatre placed directly at the bottom of each aisle, which causes the restricted view. The best seats are in the middle of rows A-D, anything beyond this not only seems very distant but also is affected by an overhang from the Balcony , providing an obstacle from being able to see the top of the stage.
Generally central seats are the best in the Grand Circle, and if you are after a bargain, single seats next to the aisle in rows B and C are pretty good, that is if you don’t mind watching through the safety rail.
Unfortunately both comfort and legroom in the Grand Circle is not of the best available, and taller members of the audience should strive to purchase tickets in other sections of the building. This part of the theatre is not advised for patrons with reduced mobility or accompanying children.
