The seats were perfectly placed. We could literally see the laugh lines on the actors' faces. The wall right on front of us was thoughtfully cushioned too.
My only discomfort was the leg space in front. And the poor lower back support.

This is the only downside of the show, I'm 6ft and my leg room was very limited, however I do understand that to improve that they would have to extend the balcony.
