The 2006 movie, The Devil Wears Prada, was an empowering story about fashion, ambition, self-discovery, and the most terrifying boss imaginable. Like Lauren Weisberger's best-selling 2003 novel, it was a smash hit. Now it's on stage again in London, a fabulous West End Musical from national treasure Elton John. When the young writer Andy accepts the job from hell working for Miranda Priestly, the much-feared and hated editor of Runway Magazine, she is hurled into a world where sinking isn't an option. She's going to have to swim to survive in New York's brutal fashion world.

Vanessa Williams (Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives) plays Miranda Priestly, with Georgie Buckland on her West End debut as Andy. They're joined by Amy di Bartolomeo (Six, Bat Out of Hell) as Emily and Matt Henry (Kinky Boots, Avenue Q) as Nigel. The show's award-winning creative team includes Tony, Grammy and Academy Award winner Sir Elton John, who also gave us Tammy Faye and Billy Elliot The Musical. Direction and choreography from Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde) joins lyrics by Shaina Taub (Suffs), book by Kate Wetherhead (Ever After) and set design by Tim Hatley (Life of Pi, Back to the Future). There's costume design by Gregg Barnes (Some Like It Hot, Legally Blonde), lighting design by Bruno Poet (The Tina Turner Musical, Frankenstein), and sound design by Gareth Owen (Come From Away, & Juliet), plus casting by Jill Green. Prepare for a brilliantly bitchy laugh-out-loud experience.
