Sitting in the front row of an elevated stage offers outstanding views of the cast as they deliver their performance, well worth a slight limit to your ability to see the stage from a slightly more elevated position. Don't get me wrong - you can see everything from the front row, though when the actors are laying on a bed in a 'hotel room,' the seat's upward-facing angle doesn't allow you to see the surface of the bed. Traded for the excellent views of the actors during the play - I'll take Row 1 anytime!
