Dress Circle

The Dress Circle feels much wider than the Stalls and is divided into three blocks of seating by two aisles. This section of the theatre curves towards the stage, therefore making those seats at the end of rows restricted view seats.

The best seats in this section of St Martin’s Theatre are in the first three rows and they are classified as premium seats. You can get cheaper tickets a little bit further towards the rear of the section with very similar views, so it is not worth overpaying.

Unfortunately legroom feels very restricted in the Dress Circle, row A should be strictly avoided by taller audience members, who are generally advised to aim for aisle seats when purchasing their tickets. This part of the venue is well raked therefore even those at the very back can enjoy great views that are not obstructed by those in front of them.

The overhang from the Upper Circle begins almost immediately, however it does not have a detrimental effect on audience members as it does not obstruct the view. Generally it is advised to choose central seats in the front of this section as they provide the best panoramic views possible. End seats will have slightly restricted views but this will not hinder audience’s experience too much.

The Dress Circle is wheelchair accessible and offer two wheelchair spaces, and it is suited to those with reduced mobility. Those patrons who are attending with children might be best buying their tickets in the Stalls section.
